- Wake County Firearms Education Center – Apex, NC – Pistol, Rifle – Open to the public (but you need to have a membership card)
- Drake Landing – Fuquay-Varina, NC – Pistol, Clays – Open to the public. Shotgun rentals.
- Deep River Sporting Clays – Sanford, NC – Pistol (members only), Clays – Open to the public
- Durham County Wildlife Club – Morrisville, NC – Trap, Skeet, Clays, Pistol, Archery, Fishing – Membership club (guests OK with member), visitors allowed weekends on the shotgun ranges
- Sir Walter Gun Club – Creedmoor, NC – Pistol, Rifle – Members only
- Durham Pistol & Rifle Club – Haw River, NC – Pistol, Rifle – Members only (guests OK with member)
- Woody’s Hunting & Rifle Club – New Hill, NC – Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun – Members only (guests OK with member)
- Eagle 1 – Raleigh, NC – Pistol. Pistol rentals – Open to the public
- Kidd’s Place – Holly Springs, NC – Pistol, Clays – Shotgun Rentals – Open to the public
- PSR Gun Club – Bunnlevel, NC – Pistol, Rifle – Open to the public

- Distinguished Pistol – Mebane, NC – Pistol, Rifle – Open to the public
The list above is to assist you in finding an appropriate venue for an event. Please note that all BSA Shooting Sports rules still apply even at commercial ranges. For example, if you are having a rifle shooting event with boy scouts at one of the above ranges you will need to have an NRA Rifle Instructor present and an NRA Range Safety Officer present. Luckily an RSO is probably already on duty at one of these ranges but you need to double check.
